Derek joined MIR, Inc. in November of 2002. He brought to the company over ten years of business management experience with an emphasis on customer service. Before joining the team, his skills were tested as he managed a million dollar inventory in a nationwide service company. He served the company well as he garnered numerous income, profit, and customer service awards.

"The focus shifted from customer service to profit at the expense of the customer. When that happened, I new it was time to move on. With MIR, I am able to focus on what is best for the customer again".

Derek has been a resident of Paris for over thirty years. He and his wife, Jill, have one daughter and are active in their church where Derek plays guitar with the choir and Praise Team.
